Who is responsible

This website belongs to Salomé López, as a private individual. Salo Madrid has no commercial activity at the moment: nothing is sold here, no services are provided and there is no advertising.

For anything, including your data: salo@salomadrid.es.

If you write to us

We use your name, your email and whatever you tell us only to reply to you, based on our legitimate interest in answering people who write to us. We delete the email once the conversation is over, and we review and delete old ones at least once a year.

Statistics and cookies

Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser to remember information. Here they are only used for statistics:

  • Google Analytics 4, by Google Ireland Limited, only if you accept it. It sets the cookies _ga and _ga_<ID>, which last up to 2 years, to count visits and see which pages people find interesting. Google keeps this data for 2 months. The legal basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time under "Cookie settings" at the bottom of every page; anything processed before remains lawful.
  • Cloudflare Web Analytics, which uses no cookies, stores nothing on your device and does not follow you across websites: it only counts visits in aggregate, based on our legitimate interest in knowing how many people visit the site.

The website also stores your cookie choice in your browser so it doesn't ask you on every visit.

Who else processes your data

We don't give your data to anyone unless the law requires it. It is processed on our behalf, and only for these purposes, by our email provider, Cloudflare (which hosts the website and runs the cookie-free statistics) and Google (Analytics). Cloudflare and Google also process data in the US; both are certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, recognised by the European Commission's adequacy decision (Art. 45 GDPR).

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, restrict or object to its use, and receive it to take elsewhere, by writing to salo@salomadrid.es. If you think we haven't handled it properly, you can complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency, the AEPD.
